Saline swamps can be found fringing coastal floodplain lakes and coastal non-floodplain lakes and/or in complexes with coastal floodplain heath swamps, coastal floodplain tree swamps, coastal non-floodplain heath swamps and coastal non-floodplain tree swamps.
