Assessment of Common Conservation Values - Intertidal and Subtidal Environs of the Baffle to Fitzroy Coast (ACCV)
The project was been conducted as a subcomponent of the larger Queensland Intertidal and Subtidal Ecosystem Classification Scheme (QISC) developed under the Queensland Wetlands Program.
Find out more about accessing the data and reports on the get mapping help page.
The data may also be accessed through WetlandMaps.
An assessment of common conservation values for subtidal and intertidal environments extending from just south of the mouth of Baffle Creek to north of the Fitzroy River was undertaken. The assessment is non-social, non-economic and tenure independent and is based upon a subset of the criteria employed by the Aquatic Biodiversity Assessment and Mapping Method (AquaBAMM) and founded upon a wide body of national and international literature. The current project was conducted as a subcomponent of the Queensland Intertidal and Subtidal Habitat Mapping and Conservation Values Assessment for Central Queensland State Waters.
