An assessment of common conservation values for subtidal and intertidal environments extending from just south of the mouth of Baffle Creek to north of the Fitzroy River was undertaken. The assessment is non-social, non-economic and tenure independent and is based upon a subset of the criteria employed by the Aquatic Biodiversity Assessment and Mapping Method (AquaBAMM[1]) and founded upon a wide body of national and international literature. The current project was conducted as a subcomponent of the Queensland Intertidal and Subtidal Habitat Mapping and Conservation Values Assessment for Central Queensland State Waters. References
