Excavation of material from in front of the levee. Sorting, windrowing and disposing of remaining timber debris. Topdressing the upper rock protection on the levee.
In total, 88 projects were completed by 30 June 2019. These included:
Approximately 290,000 tonnes of sediment have been prevented from polluting the coastline every year; including the Great Barrier Reef and Moreton Bay environments.
