Exploring our wetlands

Exploring our wetlands is an informative and interactive education program for students, which was developed by the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park Authority to help enhance the knowledge, understanding and awareness of wetlands within the Great Barrier Reef catchment. Funding was provided by the Australian Government through the Queensland Wetlands Program. The program provides information on what wetlands are, why they are important, particularly for the Great Barrier Reef, how they function and what pressures they face.
