Bank battering and revegetation to prevent further erosion (and protect water quality), protect road infrastructure and improve resilience in future events.
In total, 88 projects were completed by 30 June 2019. These included:
Approximately 290,000 tonnes of sediment have been prevented from polluting the coastline every year; including the Great Barrier Reef and Moreton Bay environments.
