The project involves extensive restoration of almost 3ha within the Colmslie Reserve, which is situated on the banks of the Brisbane River and close to Queensport Rocks Park. The project builds on work undertaken in the area and will involve:
  • a rubbish and debris community clean up
  • site preparation (including weed control)
  • re-vegetation and ongoing maintenance.

This project will:
  • enhance Colmslie Reserve’s role as a wildlife habitat and movement corridor
  • increase its resilience to future flood events by maintaining viable floristic species, diversity and structure.
