WetlandInfo is a first-stop-shop for wetland information in Queensland providing a range of tools and resources to assist with the sustainable management of wetlands.
Information is provided by a range of stakeholders, including federal, state and local governments, regional natural resource management bodies, research institutions and other reliable sources.
The WetlandInfo website is the Queensland Wetlands Program’s first-stop-shop for all your wetland management resources. The website links users to the widest range of wetland management resources in Queensland. WetlandInfo is regularly updated with Program tools and new information. An online website tour is available to make finding your way around the WetlandInfo site even easier.
WetlandInfo was initially developed through the Queensland Wetlands Program—a joint initiative of the Queensland and Australian governments. The Department of Environment and Science as custodian of the website is dedicated to continuous improvement based on user feedback—consistent with the Queensland Government’s commitment to a one-stop-shop access to Queensland Government services.
The redevelopment and ongoing improvement of WetlandInfo includes the design, navigation and content of the website, and is user driven. Consultation processes include online questionnaires, website statistics, user testing and workshops with a diverse range of clients such as regional natural resource management bodies, federal, state and local government agencies, universities, peak industry bodies and non-government organisations.
