Summary

This project aims to re-vegetate a section of Back Creek and hold a ‘Carp Buster’ fishing competition. Various bird and possum nesting boxes will be erected around the area. Back Creek is a high flood area, therefore re-vegetation projects will greatly reduce any erosion or run-off.

Benefits

This project will:
  • enhance local waterways by improving and increasing the vegetation
  • carry out weed and pest removal
  • improve the biodiversity aspects of the area
  • educate local members about the importance of continual improvement in environmental management.
