Summary

This project seeks to set carp traps, install fyke nets, and conduct electrofishing activities in the Ward River waterhole to reduce the biomass of carp species present and allow native species to increase in number.

Benefits

This project will:
  • build on extensive work already undertaken in the area and will enhance the native fish populations with further reduction in carp numbers.
