Summary

This project aims to undertake carp eradication in the Warrego River. Specific activities on this project will include electrofishing and setting carp traps.

Benefits

This project will:
  • improve water quality in the Warrego River due to a reduction of carp numbers
  • stabilise river banks as a result of an increase in riparian vegetation.
