Summary

This project aims to manage weed species and plant approximately 500 stems. Follow-up weed management will be undertaken.

Benefits

This project will:
  • promote increased resilience of endemic floral species and the enhanced wildlife corridor will provide habitat and food sources for native fauna, reptile, bird and aquatic species.

The weed seed bank of present non-native species will be reduced and the reduction in erosion and subsequent improvement in water quality in the Canungra Creek system will have positive downstream effects.
