Summary

The project aims to reduce run-off and pollution levels in Upper Pioneer Catchment for improved water quality through restoration and re-vegetation of riparian zones.

Benefits

This project will:
  • improve local environmental values and water quality for the catchment of the Pioneer River.

At a regional scale, water quality improvement aims to benefit the end catchment that drains into the Great Barrier Reef.
