The case study On-farm wetland demonstration site–Lower Burdekin shows how Burdekin cane farmer John Quagliata demonstrates how the rehabilitation of a wetland on his property will benefit his cane farming enterprise and also the quality of water entering the local waterway.

The case study De Moleyns Lagoon rehabilitation and monitoring project shows the outcomes of partnership project carried out by the Queensland Wetlands Program (QWP) and the Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry (DAFF). The project on wetlands in agricultural production areas within the Mackay-Whitsunday region.
