- Description
- Drynaria x dumicola is a natural hybrid between Drynaria rigidula and D. sparsisora. It is distinguished from D. rigidula by its sessile pinnules somewhat constricted above their bases; and from D. sparsisora by the pinna margins between major lateral veins inconspicuously incised. From both species Drynaria x dumicola is distinguished by the pinnatisect fronds, by the costular nectaries in either or both pinna axils, or lacking, and by the irregularly orbicular oblong or elongate sori impressed into the lamina (Bostock, 1998).

- Drynaria x dumicola occurs in Araucarian vine forest or littoral vine forest.
